From now on, you’ll be demoted if you lose LP if you were at 0 LP when the game started. Challenger/Grandmaster Demotion Protection: For players in Challenger and Grandmaster, you’re supposed to demote into Masters if you are at 0 LP at the end of the day, and then demote back to Diamond if you lose at 0 LP in Masters.
Can you demote out of diamond?
Yes, it is possible to be demoted from a tier. For example, let’s say you’re in division IV of a tier, and your MMR drops an entire tier – you will be warned about having a possible demotion.
Can you demote in diamond TFT?
Because there aren’t any promo series, there’s also no game-based Demotion Shielding in TFT.
Can you get demoted from Diamond League?
Yes. If the Blizzard ranking system is certain with enough confidence that you are at playing at a lower level (e.g. your winning percentage vs. Platinum players is consistent at roughly 0.500, and you are losing to most diamond players), you will be demoted.
How many games does it take to demote from diamond?

What happens if I lose promos?
If you lose your Promotion Series, you remain in your current division, and the LP lost is calculated normally. As you probably know, you gain LP as you win games (after your initial 10 games in your placement series).
